I’m not sure of the odds I’m not too good with the whole #s thing. The Egyptian theme that is occurring here is really challenging honestly, I want to be accurate without being doing STEREOTYPES. If nothing else Jeremy is really challenging me when it comes to taking me out of my artistic comfort zones.
I find it odd how people who don’t know each other have similarities pop up in their stories at the same times. Some people believe in a global subconsciousness, while others think it has something to do with world events and pop culture. Then there’s always coincidence.
I remember when we first started three years ago we released a page with a panel extremely similar to one from a web comic Jonathan and I both read, but about a week after theirs. (If you’re curious it was issue 1, page 9 panel 3.) I knew ours had been written and drawn weeks before, but it bothered me to have the same imagery. Then I realized some things are tropes of the genre and are bound to happen like this.
Thank you again for commenting Marscaleb. I love to hear your insights, as well as those from anyone else.
This page made me chuckle.
Also, ironically the last webcomic I read today just suddenly introduced ancient Egyptian themes into its story. What are the odds.
