Okay, her swords are doing it too. Is this really a thing in the D&D universe that I am unaware of, or are you just having fun with how you are depicting their weapons that are not always visible on their person?
It’s a style thing I decided to do to reinforce the game aspect. When we game we don’t usually explain where we put our weapons when we are done fighting we just assume they get put up, and when we fight we suddenly have them in our hands when we roll that d20 so I decided that when the characters begin their attack action they reach for their weapon/d20 and that’s where the weapon is/comes into being. I may later start drawing it on them but I think it’s a neat reinforcement of the gaming stereotype right now. Same with the quiver that was on Aaleonis’ belt it turned into d6s when she put the weapon away.
